DXXN
RECOGNITION
  • 2025 Western Canadian Music Award Nominee, Afrobeats Artist of the Year
  • Two-time Winnipeg Night Life Awards Local Artist of the Year nominee

DXXN (pronounced “deen”) is a Winnipeg-based Afrobeats artist and record producer redefining the sound and identity of African diaspora music in Canada. Blending Afrobeats with R&B, hip-hop and neo-soul, DXXN creates emotionally resonant records that reflect both vulnerability and confidence, through his rich and infectious melodies.

Following a nomination for Afrobeats Artist of the Year at the 2025 Western Canadian Music Awards, DXXN has continued to build momentum through consistent releases and live performances that have strengthened his artistic voice and growing audience. His November 2025 single “Checkk” marked a new chapter in his evolution, showcasing refined songwriting, intentional storytelling and sonic maturity. With the two-pack release 2S4Y in March 2026, DXXN further expands his catalogue, demonstrating artistic consistency and a commitment to advancing Afrobeats within the Canadian music landscape.

Beyond recordings, DXXN is an active contributor to Winnipeg’s live music scene, delivering intimate, engaging performances that connect deeply with audiences. His work represents the expanding cultural diversity of Canada and the growing influence of Afrobeats as a defining global genre.
